Drawing 1
Grades 10-12
1 Trimester Course Elective
Prerequisite: Introduction to Art & Design
Learn a variety of basic drawing techniques; how to draw, faces, people, animals, and architecture. Use media such as pencils, charcoal, colored pencils, pastels, ink and chalks. Students who excel in this course will qualify for Drawing 2.
Drawing 2
Grades 10-12
1 Trimester Course Elective
Prerequisites: Drawing 1 (B or Better)
Advanced exploration and experimentation in drawing. Students will demonstrate knowledge of various mediums including graphite, pastels, and ink washes. You will be able to understand the art process more thoroughly through sketchbooks, using preliminary sketches and visual planning to complete refined works with value.
