This class is designed to give the students experiences with many kinds of art and to develop self-confidence and creative thinking. We also explore aesthetics (ways to think about beauty and what it means) and art appreciation (why do we like what we like?). Class time and projects  include Art Criticism and the Theories of Art. We also talk about of Art history, themes (topics), subject matter (what is it “of”), media (stuff we use to make art) and techniques.
